Hello! The year is flying by, right? Now that we're over halfway through 2021, this is a GREAT time for W-2 wage earners to check your withholdings. Suggestion - take a look at your pay stub (the 'newest' one after June 30) and for Indiana residents, make SURE you have county tax withheld at the appropriate rate and state withholdings are appropriate (3.23%). Federal withholdings? That can be a little messy particularly in light of new child credit rules. And while yes, I'm glad to help as needed, this isn't really a drumbeat to build up business.... the goal is to be a drumbeat to minimize painful surprises when your taxes are prepared in 2022.
