Good morning! Definitely the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., is front of mind this morning. There are several of his quotes that hit me squarely between the eyes - but the powerful simplicity of this is a driver for me today. Done poorly, this is just a cliche. But when we see 'hard' in life and have decisions to make about how we conduct ourselves - when it may be easier to remain silent and not create waves - that's when this is a powerful quote. Granted, it's important to make sure we're on the side of right - but once we have clarity on that, it's time to get busy. "Letter from a Birmingham Jail" is on my mind this morning. There's a lot of raw pain these almost 60 years later - important to maintaint the moral compass and do what we can to be a blessing to others, even though sometimes it's neither easy nor fun.
